In Everlasting Memory of Virginia Prince
November 23, 1912 - May 2, 2009

Virginia Prince, Co-founder of Tri-Ess and a pathfinder in the transgender movement, passed away on May 2, 2009, at the age of 96.

Virginia founded the Hose & Heels club and Full Personality Expression, (FPE) which later merged with Mademoiselle and eventually became Tri-Ess.

She created Transvestia Magazine in the 60's and fought and won the right to mail it thru the post office.

She began to live as a woman full time at the age of 55, but chose not to have gender reassignment surgery.

May she rest in peace.
